The QUT International College Cambridge First Certificate in English Preparation course is designed to prepare candidates for the Cambridge FCE examination.

Course information:

This intensive course focuses on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, and use of English. It also pays particular attention to the Cambridge FCE examination strategies and skills.

The Cambridge First Certificate in English Preparation course is a 12 week program that comprises 25 hours of tuition per week.

Course Details

Entry requirements*:

External students wishing to enter the Cambridge First Certificate in English Preparation course are required to either have an IELTS score of 5.0; or TOEFL 500 (paper) or 173 (computer) or TWE (3); or approved equivalent. All external students are also required to take a QUTIC placement test, which is administered on their first day at the College.

Internal students are required to have successfully completed the intermediate level of General English and to successfully complete an internal test.

Entry dates:

Students can start the Cambridge First Certificate in English Preparation course in either March or September.
