A University Diploma is generally equivalent to the first year of the relevant Bachelor Degree program, and is designed for students who have completed senior high school but may not quite meet the academic and/or English entry requirements for a university degree program. The University Diploma courses are two-semester programs; each semester consists of 13 weeks of classes and an examination period. The University Diploma programs have three new intakes every year. In these courses you will study six first year (core) degree units, as well as two communication units which have been designed to support the other core units. If you successfully complete the University Diploma in Business or Information Technology with the faculty required required Grade Point Average (GPA), you will articulate to the second year of your chosen degree, as listed below:
In the University Diploma in Professional Communication course you will study six first year degree units, as well as two communication units which have been designed to support the other core units. If you successfully complete the University Diploma in Professional Communication with the required Grade Point Average (GPA), you will articulate to the second year of the following degree programs:
Students who achieve a minimum GPA of 5.0 in their University Diploma in Professional Communication studies are also eligible for:
On satisfactory completion of your course requirements, you will be awarded a University Diploma.
