Getting to the QUT IELTS Test Centre

Welcome to the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) IELTS Test Centre. The leafy quiet campus is just two kilometres from the Brisbane city centre easily accessible by bus, foot or car.

The centre is located at the QUT International College (QUTIC) in P Block at QUT's Kelvin Grove campus. Please read below on how to find the centre easily.

Getting to the centre on foot: On the wayfinder maps on Kelvin Grove campus please look for P Block. The test centre is on Level 3 but during the week you are able to enter the building on Level 1, 2 or 3. Please follow the signs.

Getting here by car: All parking on campus is regulated 24 hours per day, 7 days per week unless otherwise stated.  When parking on campus, please ensure that the parking information is read carefully and follow the signage within the car park to avoid receiving any parking fines. The Sports Oval Carpark down Sports Lane off Herston Road is the nearest carpark to P Block. You can also park undercover in F Block which is off Boundary Road.

Parking: Parking on the Sports Oval carpark during the week (which is the nearest carpark to P Block, Kelvin Grove), fees apply. These can be paid by a gold coin or credit card. The campus offers free parking on Saturday test days in the Sports Oval carpark (nearest carpark to P Block located off Herston Road near the tennis courts). It is the candidates responsibility to part in the correct areas, including on the weekend to avoid any fines.

Getting here by bus: For bus timetables operating on a Saturday to QUT, Kelvin Grove campus, please visit the Queensland Translink website.

Please note that the bus number 66 only operates Monday to Friday. Alternative bus routes that travel along the northern busway to the QUT Kelvin Grove busway stop are bus numbers 330, 340 and 333.

When planning the trip to the QUT IELTS Test Centre, ensure the travel time includes 5-10 minute walk to the QUT International College (P block) from the QUT Kelvin Grove bus stop.

We strongly recommend you visit the centre before the test day to ensure you know where to park, where the building is located and which door to report to for registration.

Arriving on time is the candidate's responsibility. Late candidates will not be accepted and no refund will be given. Please arrive at 8am on test days to allow time for registration.
