Language and
Learning Support |
| Students in our University Entry Programs (Foundation, University
Diploma and University Certificate in Tertiary Preparation) also have access to language and learning advisers
to help improve their language and academic skills. International College students
can also access QUT’s support services across all campuses. |
 |
Dedicated Staff |
| QUT International College's dedicated teaching and administrative staff are highly qualified with a great deal of experience in teaching and assisting international students. Many of our staff have lived and worked overseas and some speak second languages. |
 |
Welfare Support |
| QUT recognises that international students may face additional
challenges to those that domestic university students have to cope with. In
addition to making choices about their studies they must learn to live in
a different culture and society, often far from family and friends.
To help with the adjustment, our Student Welfare Advisor (Jacqui Harding) and Welfare Officer (Suzan Gredig), provide
counselling and support to QUT International College students through
the provision of organised workshops and activities. Jacqui and Suzan also advise
students on an individual basis. Students are welcome to visit Jacqui and Suzan for specific help or just for a chat.
